Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc is seeking an Ultrasound Tech to operate ultrasound imaging equipment and produce diagnostic images under Radiologist supervision. The role requires explaining procedures, preparing exams, and maintaining patient records as part of a broader imaging team.

Ideal candidates will have completed formal radiology training with 6–12 months of post-registry RDMS/ARDMS certification preferred and a strong focus on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal training program.
• 6 months to 1 year post registry preferred RDMS (ARDMS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient, obtains complete and accurate history relevant to the examination to be performed.
• Independently performs clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation.
• Provides basic patient care as needed by any patient.
• Produces permanent records of diagnostic examinations.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, Ultrasound Techs will operate ultrasound imaging equipment in order to produce images of the body for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
