Responsibilities

• Assesses patient to develop a plan for completing the procedure.
• Performs pre- and post-exam patient education pertinent to the exam.
• Produces images according to protocols with high accuracy in various settings.
• Maintains radiation safety practices and uses shields and collimation as required.
• Prepares for and assists radiologists with intricate examinations.
• Ensures examinations are completed and ready for interpretation.
• Attends department meetings and contributes to quality improvement.
