Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures in accordance with scope, standards, and patient education. You will review orders, prepare equipment, and ensure safety while delivering high-quality images.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in radiologic technology required or preferred.
Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology.
Must demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current license/certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Responsabilités

Review patient history and physician orders; educate patient about procedures and equipment.
Prepare equipment and supplies; select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
Ensure safety standards; perform quality control and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Position patient and perform imaging procedures; analyze results and address image quality concerns.
Enter, transmit and report scan results; perform additional duties as assigned.
