CommonSpirit Health's St. Mary-Corwin in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Radiology Technician to provide quality patient care in the medical imaging department, operating imaging equipment safely and upholding ALARA practices.

You will work with students and staff, maintaining current standards of practice while ensuring patient comfort and accurate imaging. Strong radiology, safety, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging including Surgery and Trauma.
• 1 year post certification experience preferred to evaluate/instruct student radiographers.
• Registered Technologist, Radiology (ARRT) required.
• Current Basic Life Support (AHA) required.
• Kansas LRT may apply.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring safety for all individuals and practicing ALARA.
• Produces quality images accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
• Prepares patients, provides procedure information, responds to needs, and assists with positioning.
• Observes patient and equipment during procedures, reports unusual occurrences and documents conditions.
• Facilitates smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of resources.
• Inputs charges and completes hospital/medical imaging paperwork for each exam.
