Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Florida licensure as Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT certification.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• C-Arm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy/physiology for interpretation or intervention.
• Uses professional judgment to ensure quality, safety, and patient comfort during procedures.
• Provides care and instructions to achieve cooperation and successful outcomes.
• Complies with state and federal regulations for each modality.
• Adheres to Orlando Health mission and policies.
• Assesses patient condition and age-specific needs; documents history accurately.
• Positions patient and equipment to capture high-quality images; verifies patient identity and annotations.
• Applies radiation safety principles to minimize exposure; participates in quality control tasks.
• Demonstrates proficiency in contrast administration and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Assists in supervision and training of student technologists.
