Qualifications

• Minimum education: graduate of an approved two-year radiography program.
• Six months minimum work experience to be proficient.
• MA RT license or RT Temp license required; CEU maintenance as per licensure.
• Maintains patient safety, confidentiality and accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiologic services with emphasis on patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; verify identity and requisitions.
• Set up and operate radiography equipment and fluoroscopy units.
• Observe and respond to patient conditions; manage contrast administration and post-procedure instructions.
• Maintain equipment and document imaging process in medical records.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protect patients and staff.
