Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic team. You will perform highly complex exams, coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical factors, and apply radiation safety measures in a patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification, CPR, and at least two years of radiography training, with a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous learning within a supportive, inclusive organization.

Qualifications

• ARRT certified; current license as required by the state.
• Maintains CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of all radiological equipment; able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team.

Responsibilities

• Types, proofs, and mails results of the exams.
• Coordinates multiple factors to achieve a quality exam in appropriate timeframe.
• Utilize radiation safety devices.
• Attends departmental in-services and other staff development programs.
• Maintains and cleans equipment work areas and reports all malfunctions or breakage appropriately.
