Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform highly complex radiology exams and coordinate equipment and factors to ensure timely, quality results. You will work on the diagnostic team, ensuring radiologic safety and accuracy as part of a compassionate inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of radiological equipment and ability to perform highly specialized exams.

Responsibilities

• Types, proofreads, and mails results of the exams.
• Coordinates multiple factors to achieve a quality exam in an appropriate timeframe.
• Utilize radiation safety devices.
• Attends departmental in-services and staff development programs.
• Maintains and cleans equipment work areas and reports malfunctions or breakages.
