Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist – Pool at Bartow Regional Medical Center in Bartow, FL. This pool position offers flexible shifts and on-call duties to support diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities include performing radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, RIS data management, and assisting in the OR and ED. Must have BLS and Florida radiology credentials or registry eligibility; a radiology diploma or associate degree is required.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT registry eligibility within 6 months.
• Radiology – State of Florida.
• Technical Diploma in Radiology or Associates Degree in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support OR and ED diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, clerical duties, physician assistance, patient transport.

Radiology Technologist Pool Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.
• Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
