Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the West Hospital Medical Office Building 1. The role performs diagnostic imaging under licensed supervision, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. ARRT certification and state licensure as applicable are required or preferred by location.

Responsibilities include patient history intake, positioning, radiation protection, and assisting with fluoroscopy. Epic EHR and PACS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiologic technology (preferred).
• ARRT certification and registration in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
• State licensure preferred, where required by the state.
• BLS certification preferred or required at hire depending on location.
• 1 year of experience in radiation safety and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and required labs for practitioner use.
• Position and immobilize patient for optimal radiographic views.
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Perform radiographic procedures with imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verify informed consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and radiographic procedures.
