Job summary

Corewell Health Trenton Hospital is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic exams in general radiology, while following radiation safety principles. You will be a vital part of our team, delivering high-quality imaging to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist Registration within 180 days.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) ARRT within 180 days.
• BLS certification (AHA) within hire.
• BLS certification (ARC) within hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology.
• Follow regulations and principles of radiation protection.

About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital

Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care.

Scope of Work

As a Radiology Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology while following regulations and principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at student level. Required
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
