Job summary

Providence is seeking a Radiology Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR for a part-time day shift (Mon and Tue, 10am–10:30pm). The Radiology Technologist performs imaging exams according to physicians' orders using various imaging equipment, prioritizing patient safety and ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment.
• Accounts for individual patients' age-related needs and uses ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Delivers high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
