Job summary

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR, is hiring a Radiology Technologist for full-time day, evening and night shifts. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible external candidates who meet conditions.

You will perform imaging exams across diverse radiologic modalities and collaborate with a skilled team to deliver exceptional patient care. The role requires Oregon radiographer licensure (or temporary license) and ARRT certification within 6 months, plus BLS.

Qualifications

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, Or
Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Performs imaging examinations according to physician orders, utilizing a variety of imaging equipment.
Utilizes clinical knowledge to optimize positioning, radiation dose and technique to produce high quality images.
Maintains ALARA to minimize radiation exposure for patient and staff.
