Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a part-time day shift (Mon-Tue, 10am–10:30pm). A $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible external candidates, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one.

The role performs imaging studies per physician orders, adheres to ALARA, and ensures high-quality imaging with patient-centered care. Licensure and ARRT certification timelines are outlined in the requirements.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: ARRT certification.
• Upon hire: BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging examinations according to physicians' orders using imaging equipment; optimize image quality with ALARA principles.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure accurate imaging while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety; document procedures and ensure proper safety protocols.

Education

Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License

OBMI temporary license (for new grads)

ARRT National Certification (within 6 months)

American Heart Association BLS
