Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License.
New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Performs imaging examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, and considering patient age-related needs.
Uses ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff while producing high-quality images.
