Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist in the Imaging department for a day shift, part-time in Wauwatosa, WI. You will prepare and position patients, select exposure factors, and administer contrast media within regulatory guidelines.

You will monitor patients, ensure safety, and liaise with PACS to deliver high-quality images with proper markers. The role requires ARRT radiography credentials, WI radiography licensure, CCI/Cardio Tech and ARDMS credentials, and a current BLS

Qualifications

• BLS provider certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from CCI prior to hire date or transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from ARRT prior to hire date or transfer date.
• General Radiography required in addition to any specialty.
• State Radiology Technologist licensure by Wisconsin Board required.
• ARDMS Sonography credentialed prior to hire date or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for imaging and select exposure factors accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulations.
• Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity; monitor protocols and suggest updates.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and minimize unnecessary exposure.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct markers and patient data/history.
