Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Orthopedics Department at Baptist Silverleaf in St. Augustine, FL. This is a Full-Time, Day Shift position with travel to other Orthopedic locations as required.

You will prep rooms, position patients, and operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while collaborating with nurses and physicians to ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT or equivalent radiologic technologist certification required.
• RCIS or equivalent consideration.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and coordinate with nurses and physicians.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety and quality standards.
• Report to the Lead Technologist on shift.
• Adhere to mandatory education and health requirements.

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Orthopedics Department at Baptist Silverleaf in St. Augustine, FL. This is a Full-Time, Day Shift opportunity.

As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Travel to other Orthopedic locations is required for this position.

This Radiology Technologist will be responsible for:

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift.
• Being compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy.

Preferred Experience:

• Customer Service Experience
• Radiology/Imaging Experience
• Experience working in a hospital setting

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI) Required OR
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required OR
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required OR
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
