Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and accurate record keeping. Graduates from an approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification or eligibility, with CPR certification, are required.

The role emphasizes communication with physicians and staff, readiness for emergencies, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines. Hours are 40 per week, M-F, 8-5.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• One year experience with patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs or assists in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures per state radiation regulations.
• Maintains accurate patient records and image archiving.
• Provides instruction and consultation to health care personnel and patients.
