Position Overview

Responsible for taking X‑Ray exams and following established procedures for patient care and safety. Collaborates with the Clinic Office Nurse and/or Provider to provide basic nursing care for clinic patients. Receives direction from the Radiology Manager, Nurses, Providers, and Clinical Managers/Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform X‑Ray examinations on patients.
• Follow safety and quality protocols during imaging procedures.
• Co‑operate with nursing staff to deliver basic patient care.
• Adhere to written directions and departmental standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Education

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program (required).

Licenses & Certifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration or eligibility (required).
• Current State Licensure (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of X‑ray equipment and procedures.
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of radiation safety.
• Ability to follow and apply written direction.
• Attention to detail during radiological exams.
• Computer and keyboard proficiency.
