Job summary

Great Falls Clinic is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams and uphold patient safety protocols. A Radiologic Technology program graduate with ARRT registration is required; MRI certification with ARRT is preferred. State licensure and BLS are required.

Experience in X-ray (minimum 1 year) and MR (1 year preferred) is expected. The role emphasizes attention to detail, knowledge of MRI hazards, and the ability to follow written directions and use MRI equipment proficiently in a busy

Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for taking MRI exams and following established procedures for patient care and safety.

EDUCATION:

  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered, required.
  • MRI Certification with ARRT, preferred.
  • Current State License, required.
  • BLS, required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of Xray experience, required
  • Minimum of 1 year of MR experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of X-ray Equipment and Procedures.
  • Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Knowledge of Radiation Safety.
  • Ability to follow and apply written direction.
  • Attention to detail when performing radiologic exams.
  • Computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Working knowledge of MRI procedures and protocol.
  • Working knowledge of MRI equipment and hazards common to MRI.
  • Skill in injecting contrast media.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conducting MRI exams.
