Job summary

Great Falls Clinic is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams and ensure patient care and safety in a high-quality radiology department.

Requirements include ARRT-registered radiologic technologist with current state license and BLS; MRI certification preferred. Minimum 1 year MR experience is preferred, plus 1 year X-ray experience. This is an on-site, full-time position in Great Falls, MT.

Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for taking MRI exams and following established procedures for patient care and safety.

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered, required.
• MRI Certification with ARRT, preferred.
• Current State License, required.
• BLS, required.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 year of Xray experience, required
• Minimum of 1 year of MR experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Working knowledge of X-ray Equipment and Procedures.
• Anatomy and Physiology.
• Knowledge of Radiation Safety.
• Ability to follow and apply written direction.
• Attention to detail when performing radiologic exams.
• Computer and keyboarding skills.
• Working knowledge of MRI procedures and protocol.
• Working knowledge of MRI equipment and hazards common to MRI.
• Skill in injecting contrast media.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conducting MRI exams.
