Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for full-time nights.

The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, produce high-quality images, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support imaging workflows through PACS. The role collaborates with radiologists and clinicians to deliver timely patient care, maintain accurate records, and contribute to department performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Current NJDEP Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing diagnostic imaging services.
• Proficiency with PACS and radiology information systems.
• Strong communication, patient care, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Position patients and operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper identification throughout imaging procedures.
• Process, review, and transmit images to PACS for interpretation and storage.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, accreditation requirements, and state and federal regulations.
• Participate in QA, QC, and PI initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within electronic systems.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care.
• Provide excellent customer service and patient support throughout the imaging experience.
