Qualifications

• Current NJDEP Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing diagnostic imaging services.
• Proficiency with PACS & radiology information systems; strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Position patients and operate radiographic equipment for high-quality images.
• Ensure patient safety and proper identification throughout imaging procedures.
• Process, review, and transmit images to PACS for interpretation and storage.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, accreditation requirements and regulations.
• Participate in QA/QC/PI initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in electronic systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care.
• Provide excellent customer service and patient support throughout the imaging experience.
