Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures to support diagnosis and research. You will ensure patient safety, verify orders, prepare patients, and document clinical history confidentially, while delivering high-quality images.

You will apply appropriate protocols, optimize technical factors, adhere to ALARA principles, participate in student training, and contribute to quality improvement through accurate data storage and image transfer,

Qualifications

• Certifications in MR imaging (ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB).
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program; Bachelor's preferred.
• Proficient in routine and complex MRI duties and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders, identify patients, and document clinical history confidentially.
• Use imaging protocols, optimize factors, and apply ALARA for safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and ensure data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with MRI procedures.
• Select pulse sequences, apply safety principles, and participate in quality improvement activities.
