Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• 1 year of radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.
• Radiography certification (ARRT) and state licensure required; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment across modalities to produce clinical images.
• Rotate within departments/clinics for proper coverage.
• Program computers to finalize exams and archive data to PACS.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow infection control standards.
• Ensure charges are correctly coded and entered in the billing system.
• Protect patient confidentiality and PHI; avoid unauthorized disclosure.
• Communicate effectively with patients and care teams; provide service excellence.
• Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
