Job summary

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a PRN role. You will review orders, educate patients, prepare contrast, monitor status, and perform imaging with proper exposure factors and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include image quality analysis, equipment QC, patient positioning, and accurate reporting of scan results. Relevant NM licensure and ARRT certification required; BLS required.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be graduates of a program in Radiological Technology.
• Licensure: New Mexico Radiation Operator license; ARRT Radiology; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes.
• Selects exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Prepares equipment, ensures safety, performs quality control and troubleshoots equipment.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures.
• Analyzes results and addresses image quality issues.
• Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
