Responsibilities

• Prepares and orients patients to procedures being performed.
• Provides patient care within Radiology Department.
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains it per manufacturers recommendations.
• Checks prior studies in PACS and requests merge if needed.
• Maintains documentation per hospital policy.
• Keeps work areas clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Displays cooperation and courtesy to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Maintains current knowledge of radiologic technology; participates in continuing education.
