Job summary

Great Falls Clinic is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging studies in a high‑volume radiology department. You will adhere to safety standards, prepare patients, position them for optimal imaging, and operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic quality exams.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT registration, a current state license, and BLS certification, with at least one year of X-ray experience and preferred MRI experience.

Responsibilities

Responsible for taking MRI exams and following established procedures for patient care and safety.

EDUCATION

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered, required.
• MRI Certification with ARRT, preferred.
• Current State License, required.
• BLS, required.

EXPERIENCE

• 1 year of Xray experience, required
• Minimum of 1 year of MR experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Working knowledge of X-ray Equipment and Procedures.
• Anatomy and Physiology.
• Knowledge of Radiation Safety.
• Ability to follow and apply written direction.
• Attention to detail when performing radiologic exams.
• Computer and keyboarding skills.
• Working knowledge of MRI procedures and protocol.
• Working knowledge of MRI equipment and hazards common to MRI.
• Skill in injecting contrast media.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conducting MRI exams.
