Responsibilities include obtaining orders, preparing patients, applying imaging protocols, and supporting education of students and staff within the Radiology Department, all while maintaining ALARA principles and compliance with department policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
• Applicants hired after a specified date must complete steps to advance to level 2 within 24 months.

Radiologic Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging procedures by administering ionizing radiation and acquiring high-quality images for interpretation. They independently conduct radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, assist licensed practitioners, and ensure patient safety and proper documentation.
