Back Radiology Technologist – Green Bay Metro Area

Full Time and Part Time – #25-483 – Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States. Location: East Mason‑009.

Summary

The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with Radiologist protocols. They follow established radiographic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety. The clinic radiology tech also performs basic laboratory functions, including phlebotomy and basic lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform general imaging, including specialty imaging such as orthopedics.
• Position imaging equipment and adjust techniques as appropriate to patient body habitus.
• Record, process, and maintain patient data within the electronic medical record and PACS system.
• Complete all image processing procedures and quality control testing.
• Follow Radiologist protocols to ensure diagnostic quality images.
• Use radiation safety measures and protective devices to comply with regulations.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm understanding, and address questions.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic lab testing.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited or approved program in Radiological Technology.
• 1‑3 years of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology (clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year).
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to provide patient care.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and behaviors; ability to foster work and patient relationships.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet changing demands; work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work under stressful or emergency situations with high concentration and energy.
• Effective problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in EMR systems, computer, phone, and related technologies.
