The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification and Wisconsin licensure, plus CPR within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing questions.
• Position patients accurately to obtain quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment per manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Review images for quality and completeness before submission for interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR and PACS systems.
• Adhere to ALARA radiation safety principles; monitor patient safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to coordinate patient care.
• Assist with quality assurance activities and departmental improvement initiatives.
• Maintain imaging rooms and equipment readiness; participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations.

Beloit Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiology Technologists to join our Diagnostic Imaging team on a Per Diembasis. The Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed in the State of Wisconsin.
• CPR Certification within 90 days of hire
• Self-motivated and able to be flexible.
• Ability to problem-solve and function independently.
