INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, offers a Radiology Tech Lead position in Oklahoma City, OK. The role works nights with the Diagnostic Radiology team, leveraging ionizing radiation procedures and supervising staff within specific areas of the department.

The Radiology Technologist Team Lead performs duties that include staffing oversight, staff supervision, performance evaluations, error troubleshooting, quality assurance of radiographs, equipment maintenance, patient and physician satisfaction initiatives, and involvement in new employee selection and interview processes (pending Operations Manager and Chief Tech approval).

Responsibilities
  • Ensure and oversee proper staffing levels for supervised areas, making adjustments for absenteeism, vacation, and workload.
  • Supervise technical staff and contribute to annual performance evaluations, including recommendations for promotions, disciplinary measures, and other administrative actions.
  • Troubleshoot and correct errors in radiology reports and patient exam orders.
  • Ensure radiograph quality meets department standards.
  • Coordinate repair and maintenance of malfunctioning equipment.
  • Lead efforts in patient and physician satisfaction.
  • Assist in new employee selection and interviews when approved by Operations Manager and Chief Tech.
Physical Demands

Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Requires good body mechanics, standing most of the day, lifting/carrying/pushing 20–40 lbs occasionally, assisting patients of varying weights, working in a darkened room, seeing and distinguishing colors, and wearing a lead apron for up to 2 hours at a time. Additional or varied physical demands and respiratory fit test requirements may apply.

Qualifications
  • 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT-R (ARRT-RADIOGRAPHY) license.
  • BLS or CPR certification issued within 90 days of hire (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
  • Effective communication in English (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years supervisory experience.
Reporting

Canadian Valley: Reports to Director of Radiology. BMC: Reports to Chief Technologist.
