Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic team. You will perform highly complex exams, coordinate equipment, calculate technical factors, and apply radiation safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

ARRT certification and CPR required; minimum 2 years radiography training. You will maintain and clean equipment, attend training, and contribute to quality patient care across our community. We offer strong benefits including tuition reimbursement and 401(k) plans.

Qualifications

• ARRT certified; current license as required by the state.
• Maintains current CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of all radiological equipment; able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team.

Responsibilities

• Types, proofreads, and mails results of the exams.
• Coordinates multiple factors to achieve a quality exam in appropriate timeframe.
• Utilize radiation safety devices.
• Attends departmental in-services and other staff development programs.
• Maintains and cleans equipment work areas and reports all malfunctions or breakage appropriately.
