Job summary

Atrium Health Stanly is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under the direction of the Radiologist. You will coordinate daily activities and ensure accurate documentation and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT-recognized education, registry eligibility within 1 year, CPR certification, and strong communication skills to interact with patients and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• CPR certification required.
• Good oral and written communication skills to interact with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
