Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging including plain films, fluoroscopy, portables, OR exams and bone density assessments. You will explain procedures to patients, position and prepare them, and ensure safety and accuracy in image submission to PACS.

The role requires a Radiology Technology program completion, ARRT radiography certification as applicable, and the ability to lift and move patients and equipment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program.
• Licenses and certifications such as BLS HCP, ARRT-R Radiography, and ARRT-BD Bone Density, depending on location.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move patients and equipment regularly.
• Strong communication skills and attention to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and ensure understanding.

• Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormalities.
