Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current Montana license as a Radiology Technologist.

Radiology Technologist II
RADIOLOGY-DIAGNOSTIC (BILLINGS CLINIC HOSPITAL)

Shift: Day, Evenings, Nights, Weekends
Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)
Hours per Pay Period: 80 hours every two weeks (Non-Exempt)
Starting Wage DOE: $27.69 - 34.61

Under general supervision, operates radiographic equipment to obtain ordered radiographs, positions patients, adjusts equipment, develops films/images, and facilitates image storage in PACS. Assists physicians and RPAs in performing examinations, administering contrast media, and assisting with procedures as needed.

This position may be eligible for a $5000 sign-on incentive, relocation assistance, and tuition loan repayment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of conduct, and service expectations. Meets all organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all standards related to safety and performance.
  • Ensures radiological services comply with standards established by relevant authorities.
  • Performs quality procedures and radiographs as ordered, using all general radiographic equipment.
  • Prepares the room, equipment, and supplies, and processes radiographs accordingly.
  • Competent in setting up and using C-arms and O-arms in OR settings for surgical guidance.
  • Participates in call coverage to support emergent OR cases requiring imaging.
  • Prepares and explains examinations to patients, ensuring safety and proper positioning.
  • Informs management of any concerns or issues, maintains supplies, and performs clerical tasks related to imaging.
  • Sets goals for personal growth, maintains safety standards, and mentors student technologists.
  • Performs other duties as needed to meet departmental needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current Montana license as a Radiology Technologist and additional state licenses as needed.
