Schedule: The hours may vary depending on scheduling needs. We have 3 shifts: 7:30-4:00, 7:45-4:15, and 8:00-4:30.

Shift Days: M-F

Location: Float between 2 locations: OHP, 1264 Howard Gap Rd, Hendersonville, and 106 Henderson Crossing, Hendersonville

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for performing radiology exams and documenting proper charges in at least one modality.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Instructs and prepares patients for x-ray and/or other examinations.
• Performs routine and specialized radiographic examinations and is cross-trained in at least one other modality.
• Ensures the care and safety of patients during treatment, minimizing hazards such as electric shock, burns, and extraneous radiation.
• Determines the most suitable anatomical posture and positioning, shielding patients accordingly.
• Assesses patient pain that may interfere with imaging procedures and contacts physicians for intervention if necessary.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in a manner that optimizes safety and reduces medical errors.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited 2-year Allied Health program required.
• Registered in ARRT or specific modality required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
