Schedule: The hours may vary depending on scheduling needs. We have 3 shifts: 7:30-4:00, 7:45-4:15, and 8:00-4:30.

Shift Days: Monday to Friday

Location: Float between two locations: OHP, 1264 Howard Gap Rd, Hendersonville, and 106 Henderson Crossing, Hendersonville

The Role:

Responsible for performing radiology exams and documenting proper charges in at least one modality.

Team Value:

· Instructs and prepares patients for x-ray and/or other examinations.

· Performs routine and special radiographic examinations and is cross-trained in at least one other modality.

· Ensures patient safety and equipment safety to minimize hazards such as electric shock, burns, and radiation exposure.

· Determines appropriate anatomical positions and shields patients accordingly.

· Assesses patient pain that may interfere with imaging procedures and contacts physicians for intervention if needed.

· Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that prioritizes safety and reduces medical errors.

Qualifications:

· Graduate of an accredited 2-year Allied Health program.

· Registered in ARRT or specific modality required.

· Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
