Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist (Full Time) within Temple Faculty Physicians in Philadelphia. The role involves performing radiologic procedures, preparing and operating radiographic equipment, and ensuring adherence to radiation safety and care standards.

The candidate must have a high school diploma, completion of a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program, 1 year of experience, and hold a registered technologist (R) license plus Basic Life Support.

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST - FULL TIME - TEMPLE FACULTY PHYSICIANS - ( 264399 )

Performs and/or assists with various types of radiologic procedures, following protocols established by radiologists. Prepares, maintains, and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Follows appropriate radiation safety guidelines. Produces quality radiographs for interpretation by radiologist. Takes measures to maintain optimal departmental operations. Follows procedures related to registration and EHR use. Explains procedures to patients, positions patients and equipment, develops films, and maintains and operates specialized radiologic equipment in accordance with care standards. Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of the patients, caregivers and others demonstrating concern for the patient's privacy, comfort, and emotional state. Treats patient with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.
