Job summary

Temple Health, a dynamic network of hospitals and affiliated facilities in Philadelphia, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform and assist with radiologic procedures. You will prepare and operate radiographic equipment, observe radiation safety, and produce high-quality images for radiologists’ interpretation.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma and graduation from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program; licensure as a Registered Technologist and BLS certification are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program required.
• Reg Technologist (R) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or assists with various radiologic procedures following radiologists' protocols.
• Prepares, maintains and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines.
• Produces quality radiographs for interpretation by a radiologist.

Prepares, maintains and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Follows appropriate radiation safety guidelines. Produces quality radiographs for interpretation by a radiologist.

• Non Degree Program Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program Required

Experience

• 1 year experience in radiology Preferred

Licenses
