Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• IEMA Accreditation in Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification or eligibility.
• ARRT (RT) certification or eligibility; must obtain within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by a physician.
• Adheres to ALARA principles and infection prevention standards.
• Maintains RIS/HIS workflows and labels radiographs.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; participates in on-call rotations.
• Maintains CPR certification and state license.
