Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care is seeking a licensed Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging and operate radiology equipment in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT Radiography credentials, active BLS, and strong communication skills, with flexibility for 12-hour shifts, weekends, and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an ARRT-approved educational program.
• Current ARRT credentials in Radiography (R) Certification.
• Active BLS Certification.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Proficiency in EMR, PACS, and basic computer applications.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging with proper patient positioning and radiation safety.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring accurate results and patient safety.
• Document procedures and manage imaging records in our EMR system.
• Collaborate with clinical team members to support optimal patient care and satisfaction.
• Perform vital signs, triage, and assist with basic patient care tasks as needed.
• Support front office functions and ensure inventory and supplies are maintained.
