Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform interpretive, patient care and technical radiologic functions to ensure proper radiologic diagnosis. You will handle patient safety, prepare and operate imaging equipment, and document findings in the medical record.

The role supports Radiation Protection protocols and requires MA state licensure (or temporary licensure) with a minimum six months of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year program.
• Six (6) months of work experience minimum.
• RT Radiography Technology license required (MA state license) or Temporary license.

Responsibilities

• Perform interpretive, patient care and technical radiologic functions to ensure proper radiologic diagnosis.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and modesty during procedures.
• Prepare and operate radiographic equipment and accessories as trained.
• Verify patient identity and requisitions; document information in the medical record.
• Follow safety protocols for radiation protection and infection control.
