Job summary

South Shore Health in Massachusetts seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures with emphasis on patient comfort and safety.

Under the direction of the Department Manager, you will operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, ensure image quality, maintain patient records, and uphold radiation safety standards. Requires a two-year radiography program and MA state license; sign-on bonus for full-time roles; insurance starts day 1.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year radiography program.
• Six months of work experience to be fully proficient.
• MA RT license or MA RT Temp license.
• Employee CEU records maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient and assess ability to follow exam requirements.
• Prepare patient and ensure safety and comfort during procedures.
• Explain procedures and obtain consent when needed.
• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Maintain radiation safety and minimize exposure for patient and staff.
• Document procedures and maintain imaging records.
