Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist at Utah Valley InstaCare in Provo, UT. You will perform diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety, while collaborating with radiologists and clinicians.

The ideal candidate has ARRT(R) eligibility or certification, BLS, and state licensure if required. New grads welcome. 38-hour work week with weekday shifts and occasional weekends/holidays in a fast-paced urgent care.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification or eligibility.
• State radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• May need to complete MA Competency Checklist and function as MA in InstaCare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT (R) or modality competency.
• Prepares patient, verifies order, and identifies patient.
• Performs exams per protocol and reviews image quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time without compromising care.
• Assists/instructs students and other Radiology Techs on protocols.
• Educates patients and ensures comfort and addresses concerns.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of patient data and procedures.
