Job summary

Intermountain Health's Utah Valley InstaCare in Provo, UT is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for full-time 38 hours weekly. You will perform diagnostic imaging exams, maintain ARRT competency, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

New graduates with ARRT eligibility encouraged to apply. The position requires BLS, state licensure where applicable, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification (R) required
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice (if applicable)
• BLS for healthcare providers required
• May need to complete MA Competency Checklist and function as MA in InstaCare setting

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all functions.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams per protocol; review images for quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and keep a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits; assist/instruct students and other radiology staff.
• Provide patient education and address concerns; ensure comfort.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related info systems for quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information, procedures, and reactions.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, and QC programs.
