The ideal candidate is ARRT‑registered, has an accredited radiologic technology program, BLS, and strong communication with radiologists and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes
• Strong communication with Radiologists and physicians
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions and notify management as needed.
• Assist with scheduling procedures and prioritize patients.
