Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a licensed radiologic technologist to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes and perform a wide range of radiologic procedures following ALARA guidelines.

The role requires AMA-approved radiologic tech education, ARRT registration or eligibility, NJDEP licensure, and CPR certification preferred. On-site position offering comprehensive benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.)
• NJDEP licensure required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures for all patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist, applying radiation safety principles to achieve high-quality images.
• Obtains pertinent medical information prior to procedures and documents orders, patient details, and site specifics.
• Demonstrates proper use of radiographic equipment and computer systems (RIS, PACS, Web viewer, ADW).
• Provides instruction and assists in training new staff or student radiologic technologists.
