Job summary

Virtua Health in Hammonton, NJ seeks a Radiologic Technologist to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes and perform a wide range of radiologic procedures following established protocols.

The role requires safety-first practice under ALARA guidelines, with ARRT registration or eligibility and NJDEP licensure. This is a full-time on-site appointment with a 1st shift, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• NJDEP licensure required; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures for all patient populations according to protocols and ALARA guidelines.
• Evaluate images and ensure high-quality diagnostic results; document and verify orders and laterality.
• Operate radiographic equipment and computer systems (RIS, PACS, Web viewer, ADW).
• Provide instruction and training to staff or students in radiologic techniques.
