Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with ALARA and departmental protocols. You will ensure accuracy of images, document thoroughly, and operate RIS/PACS and related hospital systems.

Must complete an accredited Radiology Technology program, be ARRT registered or eligible, NJDEP licensed; CPR preferred. Shifts vary; minimum 24 hours per 6-week block; hourly pay around $45 with a $500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.)
• NJDEP licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures for all patient populations according to protocols with ALARA principles.
• Obtains pertinent medical information prior to procedures and documents all details.
• Operates radiographic equipment and hospital computer systems (RIS, PACS, Web viewer, ADW).
• Provides instruction and training to new staff or student radiologic technologists.
